In the year of 2000 myself and co-founder ,Cambridge PHd scientist Dr. Ian Mackay (http://www.niab.com/pages/id/74/Ian_Mackay_PhD) were offered circa £500k after successfully being selected from thousands of entries from First Tuesday wireless matchmaking competition by Metropolitan Venture Partners for our development of a unique WAP appplication for WAP mobile phones back in that era.
